Meet The Team
Andy Wise
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Our founder, Andy established the business under its former name of Thames Valley Asset Finance back in 2006. He has seen the business grow exponentially over the last two decades and facilitated the firms rebrand to Wise Business Finance during late 2024. The name change enabled the business to more accurately portray the extensive range of finance solutions the business offers to SME’s across the UK
With a prior career working at one of the UK’s largest bank owned leasing companies, Andy has an extensive knowledge of the asset finance sector. His role includes advising SME’s on all aspects of business finance whether they be start-ups, established SME’s or a those requiring structured finance or turnaround advice. His focus is also on developing Wise’s overall growth plans, to include creating strategic relationships with like-minded professional firms and overseeing the continued success of our sister business – Fast Car Finance.
Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending quality time with his wife Fiona and long walks with Luna their cocker spaniel. Holidays and fine wine are mixed with a passion for golf, where Andy continues to cut a frustrated figure on the golf course.

With over 35 years of experience in the banking and finance sector, Steve Kayll brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Business Development Manager at Wise Business Finance. For the past 15 years, Steve has been instrumental in growing a diverse portfolio of clients across various industry sectors. Delivering tailored financial solutions that drive business growth is his forte.
Steve specialises in supporting trading businesses, company directors and high net worth clients in securing finance for a wide range of needs. Steve is particularly passionate in financing sports, prestige, and classic cars.
Outside of work, Steve can be found enjoying quality time with his dog, Dexter. He is a passionate Liverpool FC supporter and is an avid golfer.

Mark has more than 30 years’ experience in assisting SME owner managers with help and advice on business funding solutions.
Having worked in banking and then 20 years + in Asset based lending Mark has 1st hand experience in structuring facilities to meet clients and funders needs. Mark prides himself on giving 1st class advice and utilising his network of connections to assist all business situations including Business purchases and turnarounds.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending quality time with his family and getting his handicap down following his late arrival into the game of golf.
