Loan arranged for investment in growing print business

A trusted professional contact recently introduced us to a well-established commercial printing company.

The business which was run by a driven and passionate director, was looking to invest in its future. They had plans to hire an additional team member and refresh it’s branding to support continued growth.

Although the director had already received a funding offer elsewhere, she was keen to explore whether a more competitive solution might be available. As a small business owner she especially valued a personal, hands-on approach, something which is part of the ethos at WBF.

After taking the time to understand the business’s goals and financial position, we sourced an alternative loan offer through one of our panel lenders. The result,  a £60,000 facility over a 5-year term, structured under the Growth Guarantee Scheme (GGS). This government-backed scheme offers lenders added security through a 70% guarantee, which in turn helps businesses like our client’s access more competitive funding. NB – personal guarantees are still required.

Not only did the new offer meet the client’s funding needs, but it also significantly improved her terms delivering savings on both the interest rate and the arrangement fee. In total, we helped her save over £5,500 across the life of the loan.

The client was delighted, not just with the financial savings, but also with the tailored support and advice she received throughout the process.

If you’re a small business owner exploring finance options, we’d love to help you find the right solution with the same personal service and attention to detail. Contact us to discuss your funding needs.
